Sonic And Knuckles Collection - PC
Level select:
-------------
Select "Sonic & Knuckles", choose any character, and play "Angel Island". Jump and
hang on a swinging vine. Then, press [Left] [Left] [Left] [Right] [Right] [Right]
[Up] [Up] [Up]. A sound will confirm correct code entry.
Sound test:
-----------
Enable the "Level select" code. Restart the game using the option under the
"File" menu. Press [Down] [Down] at the title screen.
Screen shot:

Press [F9] during game play.
Super Sonic:
------------
Collect all seven emeralds, then accumulate fifty rings or a single bonus.
Then, quickly jump twice in succession.
Knuckles' big afro:
-------------------
You can use the sign to make Knuckles appear to have grown a lot of hair.
It is done the same way as Sonic's afro trick, except that he faces the
opposite direction and stands slightly more to the right.
Hyper Knuckles:
---------------
If you get Hyper Knuckles, you will lose rings at a rate of one ring per
second -- try to go fast.
Unlimited special stages:
-------------------------
Play all zones and clear the game. Press [Alt] + R after doing the special
stage at the beginning of Mushroom Hill zone. Win all emeralds and get a
lot of continues.
Quick start:
------------
Enable the "Sound test" code. When you restart the game and enter the sound
test menu, highlight the Special Stage 2. You should end up in a Emerald
Sphere Challenge with slightly different music. Collect the blue spheres and
you should receive a golden Super Emerald that will start you off with two
Chaos Emeralds. If you get a Perfect, you should also start off with 54,800
points. Note: This game cannot be saved.
Chaos Emeralds:
---------------
Chaos Emeralds are obtainded by getting all blue Spher's in Special Stage mode.
To go to special stage mode you must find a huge ring, get 7 chaos emeralds then
obtain 50 rings and jump twice.
Super Chaos Emeralds:
---------------------
Super Emeralds are found inside the Super Rings. The Super
Ring look's like a huge ring that flashes color's.
Once inside the altar all the chaos emeralds you have will
go up and spin around and then Super Emeralds will apear.
They will also be see through until you jump on them.
Then go to a harder special stage and get all the super
emeralds. *Note: the blue one is very hard to get!
Easy chaos emeralds and game completion:
----------------------------------------
Create a new file with Sonic and Tails. Go onto the first swinging vine of that level
and enable the "Level select" code. The sound of a ring being collected will cofirm
correct code entry. Press [Alt] + R to restart the game. When the title screen appears,
press [Up] to access the new "Sound Test". Select it, then scroll down until you reach
the "Special Stage 2" level. Complete that level and keep replaying it until you have
all seven Chaos Emeralds. Then, return to the level selection screen choose "Launch
Base 2" and complete it. You should see the ending credits, and Sonic and Tails
standing next to the "Sonic 3" logo after the credits. Return to the file you created
and you should see a completed game file with all of the Chaos Emeralds.
Hydrocity:
----------
Collect all Chaos emeralds and then enable the "Level select" code. Go to Hydrocity 2
and get more than 50 rings. Once you fight Robotnik, crouch down (Super Sonic will look
like a hurdler) and you will ride up to Eggman. You have to do this quickly because
touching Eggman will hurt him. Then hold Spin Dash until he is defeated. You will fall
back down and will still be spin dashing. This is the type of spin dash in Sonic CD,
where you roll up into a ball and not a thin oval.
Two Knuckles:
-------------
Play Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Knuckles and enable the "Sound Test" code on Angel Island.
Press [Alt] + R, then on the menu press [Up] to the sound test menu. Go to Mushroom
Hill Zone Act 1, and get to the nearest pulley. Enable the "Sound Test" code again
and press [Alt] + R. Then on the menu, press [Up] to the sound test menu. Go to Sky
Sanctuary act 1. When you get there, you will see two Knuckles.
Walk on air:
------------
In Sonic The Hedgehog 2, enable the "Level select" and "All Chaos Emeralds" codes or
just get all of the Chaos Emeralds. Finish any level with fifty or more rings. At the
end of the level, you will become normal Sonic again. After this happens, jump. You
will momentarily become Super Sonic, then become normal Sonic again. You will now
be walking on air.
Blue Knuckles eats Tails:
-------------------------
Go to 1 player in Sonic 3 and Knuckles and activate level select by being Tails on angel
island on a vine and press left(3x) right(3x) and Up(3x) you shoud hear a noise then press
alt+R then press up or down(2x) then select sound test go to mushroom hill and find a pully
do the same level select code the press alt+R go to sky sanctuary 2 kill metal sonic then
Blue Knuckles is eating Tails save him!
Kuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 3:
--------------------------------
To get knuckles in sonic 3 first choose "sonic the hedgehog 3" on the game select menu.
Next, activate the "level select" code by going to Angel Island Act 1 with anyone and
grabbing onto the swinging vine and quickly pressing left, left, left, right, right,
right, up, up, up. You should hear a chime. Next press ALT+R. At the title screen press
down twice. You should see "sound test". Don't select it. Instead go to "Competition Mode"
and choose to play as knuckles in any 2 player stage. When it starts press ALT+R to go back
to the title screen. Next pick "level select" and choose a course. (I don't know how to
activate: Flying Battery, Mushroom Valley or, Sandopolis.) You should begin as Knuckles.
Be very careful as some of the courses don't have a floor in some places causing you to
fall and die. Also, Knuckles can not finish Launch Base Act 2 because at the end there
is no boss and if you keep on going you will just fall to your doom.
