At the briefing screen before a mission, check the 'Arcade Mode'
box.
Instant Unit Reload:

Press Enter to open the chat window and type 'Charge'.
Quicker Skirmish Resources:

Instead of placing you peasants on wood or stone, task them to mills
and farms which can hold up to 200 peasants. Food is collected at a
faster rate than any other resource and is more valuable than wood
or stone at the market.
